This past Sunday was an incredibly exciting time for our new Texcoco church, as well as for Ninos de Mexico as a whole. Four of our kids decided to get baptized, as well as another boy who has been coming to youth group. Because our church has yet to find a building to rent, we had our Sunday service at a local water park - complete with a time of worship, a sermon, and ending with baptisms in freezing cold water. It was so awesome to see four of our kids choosing to obey Christ in baptism. Each of the kids who were being baptized were allowed to choose someone who had been a positive spiritual influence in their life to be in the pool with them. Wendy chose me. It was so special to help baptize her. Please pray for the kids who were just baptized (Wendy, Juan, Julio, Felipe, and Cesar) to continue to seek God's direction and walk with Him.
