More May Moments

As usual, the month has gotten away from me and I'm behind. Here are some highlights from the month of May:
*Things at the Genesis House continue to go well with temporary house parents, Luis and Lorena. We are still trusting God to bring the right people to take care of the house full-time. Recently, it was Lorena's birthday and the girls enjoyed celebrating with cake.

*The rainy season has come to Mexico and the girls have had a lot of fun playing in the rain.
Hearing their screams and laughter brings joy to my days.
*We had a very special Sunday at church where some of our youth performed a very powerful drama (if any of you are familiar with the drama that goes with the Lifehouse song "Everything").
The same Sunday, 6 of our kids were baptized!!! Praise God! It is so exciting to see the kids moving forward in their relationship with Christ and choosing to follow Him. There are still several kids who haven't been baptized yet and some who are trying to decide. Pray that God continues to soften their hearts.
*My "Mexican Family" continues to be a huge blessing to my life and my ministry here. Lee and Ruthie have

headed back to the States and won't return until the following school year. Abby and Saul were also in the States for about 2 weeks. I'm anxiously awaiting their return! The picture is from our final "Friday Night Fun," as it will be the last time that we'll all be together for awhile. So great to serve with them.
